Greetings from Trackside, Race Fans:

With 4 months to go and 394 Councils in 86 Districts in our jurisdiction:

· Our State is at 62% as of 3/1/08 and needs 610 net new members (38% of our quota) to attain Circle of Honor status. That is a 10 percentage point improvement from last month.

· 59 Councils and 7 Districts are already at or over quota.

Go ahead, enjoy your success a bit ……..BUT ……… Keep it up!!!!!! We need your leadership in this tough membership year.

· 214 Councils and 67 Districts are between 1% and 99% of quota. DON’T GIVE UP!!!!!!

One-third of the year still remains. You can still reach that star status. All it takes is a little extra effort. One new member per month on average for the Councils in this category would put the entire State over the top.

· 121 Councils and 12 Districts are at zero or below % of quota. For one reason or another – a larger than normal number of suspensions, a lack of leadership in the first 2/3 of the year in your Councils, difficult economic conditions – your Council is not having a good membership year.

It is not too late to turn this trend around. Your challenge from the Geek for the rest of the Fraternal Year is to at least get back to zero. If each Council in this category recruits 2 new members by year-end, you will account for 1/3 of the distance we need to go as a State between now and June 30.

No matter what category your Council is in, it is time to go out and kick some…………….

………thing or other.
