This letter is to inform you of the dates and locations of officer training sessions for our Michigan jurisdiction in 2008. You will be expected to enroll a minimum of 2 officers for training as either Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight (includes programs and membership), Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Advocate, or Trustee. You may enroll at any of the sites listed.  The listed time indicates when training begins. Registration begins at least a half hour earlier at all locations.

Please use the enclosed form (Form MI-6) to enroll. This form is also found on the Michigan K of C website. Please list your members to be trained, by name, on the appropriate line.

 

The deadline for return of this form has been moved back to June 13 to allow for elections during the first meeting of the month. Early registration is encouraged. However, last minute enrollment may be made by email to me at MWalters6325@msn.com or by phone at 517-456-6757.

 

Payment per trainee is $30 and should be made in advance with your completed registration form or at the door to the Diocesan Director. However, to encourage early enrollment, this year we are offering a $5 discount per trainee if your registration is received before May 1. (See Form MI-6, enclosed) All payments must be received by June 30, 2007 to assure that your council receives credit toward the Michigan Achievement Award. This training is one of the last qualifying events for the Michigan Achievement Award for the current fraternal year.

 

Make the check out to “Michigan State Council”. Print “Officer Training” on the memo line. If personal checks are used, be sure to include your council number on the memo line, as well. Please do not pay in cash!
